PICA FEST 2023 REVIEW

 

This event is 100% made by young Balinese people who love the local Balinese industry and want to advance this local industry so that it can compete with other industries outside the island of Bali.

1. What is PICA Fest?

PICA FEST is Paradise Island Clothing Association (PICA) Festival, as the name suggests this is the biggest clothing festival in Bali that is eagerly awaited by lovers of local products in Bali. In this festival there are not only  100 clothing booths but there are music concerts with 100 performers from local and national, local communities and there are also 100  culinary booths that present Balinese culinary as well. In 2023, this is the 8th PICA FEST.

2. History of PICA Fest

The history of PICA FEST Bali itself began in 2014 where at that time this event was held at GOR Ngurah Rai Denpasar. With a venue or event location that is not too big, because at this PICA FEST Bali event involves many parties in it, such as clothingan, culinary and community booths. At that time the entrance ticket price was only pegged at Rp. 5,000, this is certainly a very affordable and cheap price for festival-class events where there are national bands and local Balinese bands. In 2014 there were 20,243 visitors and presented 24 local Balinese brands.

PICA FEST adalah Paradise Island Clothing Association (PICA) Festival, seperti namanya ini adalah festival clothing terbesar di Bali yang sangat ditunggu – tunggu oleh pecinta produk lokal yang ada di Bali. Dalam festival ini tidak hanya ada 100 booth clothing saja melainkan ada konser musik dengan 100 penampil dari lokal bali dan nasional, komunitas lokal dan juga terdapat 100 booth kuliner yang menyuguhkan kuliner Bali juga. Pada tahun 2023 ini merupakan PICA FEST yang ke 8.

 3. PICA Fest 2023

From year to year PICA FEST always upgrades their events, ranging from bands, clothing, culinary and community. So when we go to PICA FEST we not only watch music concerts, but we can also shop at clothingan booths to buy clothes, pants, jackets, hoodies etc. and you can also relax at the culinary booth to try various kinds of Balinese MSME culinary there. Therefore, PICA FEST is arguably the biggest music event in Bali because it can present many festival participants in it.

PICA FEST 2023 Bali Schedule & Location For the implementation of the PICA FEST 2023 event, it has been held for 4 consecutive days, namely on July 27, 28, 29, 30, 2023. For locations in Niti Mandala Renon Field Denpasar, Bali. The entrance ticket price itself is priced from Rp. 60,000 (presale price).
