"BEM Udayana University Raises the Spirit of Student Struggle through BEM SI Bali/Nusra Regional Working Meeting"


Bali, 3 September 2023 – In an effort to advance student struggles and overcome crucial issues in the Bali and Nusa Tenggara regions, BEM Udayana University is proud to be the organizer of the successful Regional Working Meeting of BEM SI People's Affairs of the Bali/Nusra Region.


The Regional Working Meeting which will be held on September 3, 2023, presents 41 delegates from BEM representatives from various universities in the Bali and Nusa Tenggara regions. This activity is a manifestation of active student collaboration in overcoming important issues in the Bali/Nusra region.

The issues discussed include educational, economic, social, and health issues that do require special attention related to their resolution. If there are issues that cannot be resolved at the regional level, they will be brought and discussed further at the 2023 National Working Meeting of the Indonesian Student Executive Board.


Head of Ormawa Udayana University, Dewangga, said "Rakerwil is not only a forum to gather and meet, but Rakerwil is the initial milestone of change, especially BEM colleagues throughout the Bali/Nusra region. Rakerwil is here to unite perception, communication, and intuition to make BEM throughout the Bali/Nusra region more compact and able to apply the tri dharma of higher education, namely service"

Chairman of BEM Udayana University for the 2022/2023 period, I Putu Bagus Padmanegara, said, "This year is the first year that Rakerwil will be held again with BEM colleagues throughout the Bali/Nusra region. Hopefully, with this rakerwil, we can gather together, move together to find solutions to every issue in the Bali / Nusra region. BEM SI is here to reduce barriers between BEM, collaborate to form a large unity to overcome existing problems"


This activity is not only an important momentum in driving positive change, but also as an inspiration for the younger generation to become dedicated agents of change in improving the fabric of society and their environment.
