COMMUNITY SERVICE CONSOLIDATION 2023

 

Denpasar – Tuesday (18/04/2023), the Student Executive Board of Udayana University "Udayana Bangkit" Cabinet through the Village Empowerment Department held the 2023 Udayana University BEM Community Service Consolidation which also collaborated with the Department of Social and Environment. The Consolidation of Community Service BEM Udayana University was attended by representatives from each of the 13 Faculties within Udayana University and located at Nusantara Hall, Agrocomplex Building, Udayana University.

The consolidation of Community Service is the first step in building a cooperative relationship between the community service field of BEM Udayana University and the community service field of the 13th BEM Faculty at Udayana University. I Kadek Dwi Mahendra as Head of Department of Village Empowerment conveyed that the purpose of holding the Consolidation of Community Service BEM Udayana University was to create a cooperation agreement or collaboration work program between the Community Service Field of BEM Udayana University and the 13th BEM Community Service Division of the Faculty.

In his speech, Achmad Gian Akbar Dzulkarnain as the Coordinator of Community Affairs of BEM Udayana University said that service does not stand alone, service is not about my organization or your organization, but service is our duty together to create a better society. With this forum, it is hoped that the field of community service BEM Udayana University with the 13th BEM Faculties can synergize and move together to provide more impact and benefits to the community.

This consolidation and negotiation was opened with the presentation of work programs from two departments of BEM Udayana University engaged in community service, namely the Department of Village Empowerment and the Department of Social and Environment. This presentation aims to spark a collaboration gap for the faculty. This consolidation was also attended by Raihan Faisal Muzhaffar and Achmad Gian Akbar Dzulkarnain as Vice Chairman and Coordinator for Community Affairs BEM Udayana University. The course of consolidation and negotiation was guided by I Kadek Dwi Mahendra and Vallentina as Head and Deputy Kepala Departemen Pemberdayaan Desa serta Ni Kadek Puspita Rani Swari dan Putu Teddy Bagas Wijaya as Head and Deputy Head of Social and Environment Department.

The implementation of this consolidation resulted in a collaboration agreement between the BEM Community Service Division of Udayana University and the 13th BEM Faculty Community Service Division which was marked by the signing of minutes for activities in the BEM Assisted Village of Udayana University. It is hoped that with this collaboration, the 13th BEM Community Service Field of the Faculty can help develop village potential in accordance with their respective faculties. In addition, it is hoped that the presence of the faculty can find shortcomings and problems that exist in the village and provide solutions to these problems, so that later we can touch all aspects in assisted villages as an effort to realize the goals, principals, and functions of the Village Empowerment Department.
