Udayana Trip To Serve #2

The Student Executive Board of Udayana University "Udayana Bangkit" Cabinet through the Department of Social and Environmental Affairs on Saturday (08/07/2023) held Udayana Trip To Serve 2 which is one of the Sub-Projects of Environmental Care and Preservation Action at the 400 Baith-El Christian Orphanage, Klungkung with the theme "Moving Together in Real Action".

This event also invited the Head of 400 Baith-El Christian Orphanage, Chairman and Vice Chairman of BEM Udayana University, BEM Functionaries of Udayana University, and BEM/Senate of 13 Faculties of Udayana University. The activity began with the performance of Puspanjali Dance from the younger siblings of Baith-El Orphanage. Then continued with the Report of the Chairman of the Committee, Remarks from the Vice Chairman of BEM Udayana University and the Head of the Baith-El Orphanage. After the report and speech, continued with the main event, namely Creative Project UTTS 2.

In this UTTS 2 Creative Project, the orphanage siblings were given several items in the form of brushes, scissors, color paint, used bottles, bottle caps, cans, and pipettes. After being given these items, the orphanage siblings were given time to make a craft that could later be reused using the used items. The younger siblings of the orphanage are very enthusiastic about this activity, some make pencil cases, flowers, piggy banks, and others. After that, the activity continued with a handstamp as a memento and the end of the UTTS 2 Creative Project this time.

In addition  to the UTTS 2 Creative Project, donations to the Baith-El Orphanage have been collected approximately one week before UTTS 2 takes place. The donations collected are in the form of; Cash in the amount of IDR 627,000.00, decent clothes in the amount of 3 bags, stationery in the form of 3 sets of crayons, 3 sets of colored pencils, and 2 pencil boxes, and 2 pieces of trash cans. The event was marked by the symbolic giving of trash cans to the Head of the Baith-El Orphanage.

We believe that even the slightest contribution can create positive change for society. We would like to thank all parties who have participated and supported the implementation of this activity. Thank you to Baith-El Orphanage for warmly welcoming us and being very enthusiastic during the event.
