BADUNG - On Thursday, March 16, 2023, a press conference was held at the Bangsa Room, Udayana University Rectorate Building. In the press conference, the Legal Team of Udayana University admitted a system error and opened the opportunity to refund the Institutional Development Contribution (SPI).
However, on March 28, 2023, the Spokesperson of Udayana University clarified that none of the students had applied for SPI returns. Therefore, BEM Udayana University found irregularities and miscommunication within the Udayana bureaucrats.

The confusion of SPI return information and several reports regarding SPI return applications from independent track students made BEM Udayana University take steps by writing to the Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance and the letter has been dispositioned by Mr. WR II.
However, a few days after the Udayana University BEM letter came in. Dr. Nyoman Sukandia confidently stated that no objection letter was received.
So from this statement, of course, questions arise in the minds of all of us. Is there no internal communication between the internal bureaucrats? Or is it an indication of the suboptimal function of the spokesperson owned by Udayana?

Don't Be Afraid to Ask for SPI Returns. BEM Udayana University guarantees safety and security both in academic and personal terms of each student. We always coordinate with the rectorate regarding the mechanism for submitting SPI returns. It is very natural that students have not written directly because there is no clear mechanism and information. It is better for the internal coordination of the rectorate to be improved so that there is no miscommunication with the Udayana University Legal Team. It is hoped that the Spokesperson of Udayana University will inform the procedures for returning SPI before stating that there are no reports of incoming students.
