After 11 years of waiting, Jakarta has finally been chosen as the host for the 2023 'SMTOWN LIVE' concert. SMTOWN LIVE 2023 is a concert held by Dyandra Global Edutainment as a promoter in collaboration with SM Entertainment and Dream Maker Entertainment Limited in presenting a magnificent concert titled "SMTOWN LIVE 2023 SMCU PALACE @JAKARTA with KB Bank." This event will be held at Gelora Karno Stadium on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 18.30 WIB.
Previously, SMTOWN concerts were also held in September, but in 2012. 11 years await, making fans unable to contain their enthusiasm. Even when this concert was still a rumor, fans were already busy talking about it and had started to check the contents of their savings. Although some seemed disappointed because some of their favorite idols did not perform at the concert, in fact the concert is still selling well in the market. Even non-fans also enlivened this concert because they were stricken with curiosity.
Line Up SMTOWN LIVE 2023
The line-up that enlivened this concert involved a number of famous stars from SM Entertainment. TVXQ and SUPER JUNIOR, a second-generation idol group, participated in the concert. In generations three and four there are Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WayV, aespa, and RIIZE. RIIZE, who recently debuted, participated in this concert, so many fans were enthusiastic about meeting them for the first time.

The concert was started by Aespa through the singles Girls and Hold On Tight. Then continued with Next Level and Better Things. WayV themselves performed their songs namely Kick Back, Take Off, and their flagship Love Talk. But not only the song, they also performed singer Kaleb J's hit single It's Only Me. Then there is NCT 127 who also performed their signature songs, namely Limitless, Ay-Yo, Kick It, and 2 Baddies. No less energetic, NCT Dream also performed their hit songs. Starting from their latest song ISTJ and Yogurt Shake. In addition, Beatbox, Glitch Mode, and Hot Sauce songs also enlivened this concert.
Then the group that fans have been waiting for, namely RIIZE performed for the first time at this SMTOWN concert with their debut songs, namely Memories and Get A Guitar. Furthermore, special units ZOO and NCT you also enlivened the stage.
Furthermore, Red Velvet also enlivened this concert. Although it was initially announced that Irene, one of the members of Red Velvet, could not contribute to her performance due to health reasons, she still gave her performance on stage. They performed the songs Feel My Rhythm, Psycho, and Flavor. Many fans were actually worried about Irene's condition that seemed to force herself, but they also gave praise for Irene's efforts to perform for her fans.
Before ending by singing along with all the artists, TVXQ and Super Junior performed their legendary songs Mirotic and Sorry, Sorry. After that, the concert ended with all artists carrying the song Hope from KWANGYA while going around greeting fans.

After the end of the SMTOWN LIVE 2023 concert, many fans were satisfied and even took pictures of the concert to keep it in their beautiful memories. Many feel no regrets after buying tickets that are not cheap because of the maximum appearance of their idols. Non-fan viewers also praised how they performed and were fluent when singing songs that did not use their native language. Not only the artists, many audience members were amazed by the stage, lighting, fireworks, and even confetti from the concert. Although some regret problems with their microphones and sound systems that had problems.
